You dream of a home under the Spanish sun. You’re looking for someone who can guide you, in Dutch, knows the area, and you can trust. But then comes the obvious question: What does a realtor like that actually cost? And how does it work here in Spain?

My guidance: free of charge for you as the buyer

Let me get straight to the point. If you buy a house on the Costa Blanca and work with me, then you pay no extra costs for my guidance. In this region, the commission is paid by the selling party. That means you, as the buyer, can fully benefit from my knowledge, experience, and network – without costing you a penny extra.

How realtors collaborate in Spain

In Spain, things work a little differently than in the Netherlands. Realtors here work a lot together. One realtor represents the seller (has the property listed for sale), while another guides the buyer. The commission is then shared. That’s how we can give you, as the buyer, access to the entire range of properties in the region – including homes you may have seen somewhere else.

That’s also why I work with virtually álle the realtors in the region. Thanks to this network, I can help you in a much broader way, and your search stays clear and well organized.

Why I ask for exclusivity

There’s one important point of attention. Once you, as the buyer, contact another realtor yourself – and that can be as simple as a phone call, an email, or even a click on a Facebook ad – then you get registered as a customer. That realtor then ‘claims’ you as the buyer, and from that moment on I can no longer offer that property to you on your behalf.

That’s why I always ask: if you see an interesting property, send it to me. Then I í take contact and keep the reins. This helps you avoid confusion, double communication, and hassles afterwards.

One point of contact, one familiar face

I understand that it can all feel a bit unfamiliar. The Spanish system is different, and the rules are strict. But precisely because of that, it’s so nice to have one steady point of contact. Someone who speaks the language, knows the region, understands how realtors work here én puts your interests first.

I keep everything clear and organized for you. I schedule viewings, maintain contact with the other realtors, and guide you through the entire process. And even after the purchase, I remain your point of contact for practical questions, maintenance, or renting out the property.
